World Vision- “Give A Goat”

On this planet, God sends down lovelightworkers and Michael Jackson was an extraordinary one whose World Vision was all encompassing.

“If one person just helps one child – they’ve done so much. ya know.. if you can do that, it  would be beautiful. Just to help one person would be ALOT, a big step forward.. because  there’s a lot to be done. Children all over the world are in such need. ” *Michael Jackson

Michael wrote in notes and said many times that God sent him on a mission to help his “babies.”  The sick, homeless, orphaned, disenfranchised and impoverished children of our world were a big concern for Michael. He was able to parlay his God given talents into a brand and build a multi-million dollar empire whereby he could financially assist these children.

We can be like Michael and help feed the planet, one child at a time with this World Vision  “Give A Goat” program.

Give a goat. Goats nourish hungry children and families with healthy milk, cheese, and yogurt. Goats also give a much-needed income boost by providing offspring and extra dairy products for sale at the market.
A healthy dairy goat can give up to 16 cups of milk a day. Goat milk is easier to digest than cow’s milk and is an excellent source of calcium, protein, and other essential nutrients that growing children need. Goats are practical animals — flourishing in harsh climates while producing valuable manure to fertilize crops and vegetable gardens.

Teopista, an AIDS orphan and World Vision-sponsored child in Uganda, is proud of her first gift ever — two donated goats that will help provide her with a brighter future. “I was very happy when I got the goats,” says the 10-year-old. “They will be of use to us. We will get money from them. I thank World Vision for thinking about me, too.”

Her aunt Restetuta feels the same way. “When the goats give birth again, we will sell off some of the younger [goats],” says Restetuta. “We will use the money to buy Teopista a school uniform, books, and beddings. We can also buy food with some of the money. I thank World Vision so much for all the help they have given us … we know that those goats will be of benefit to us in future.”

The World Vision organization incorporates  fundamentals … helping children by utilizing animals for sources of nourishment while it also focuses AIDS research . . Could there be any more fitting charity that encompasses Michael’s own world vision?

Donate generously and supply a needy child and their family with nourishment and a way to change their lives for the better.

Listen to Dr. Wayne Dyer speak of Michael Jackson humanitarian mission on this Earth.

“This was a transcendent being, with a heart as big as the sky.”

Be an integral piece of Michael Jackson’s world vision.

  2. Personally, I LOVE World Vision. If you really look at the catalog, you will understand why I am in love with them as a charity. They have matching gifts- so if you have little to give, they match it so they maximize every donation. World Vision receives grants, other company donations worldwide to have a matching program. I’d rather have my tax dollars go for something like this than ….what they government may choose. Just sayin’…

You can give towards a whole or PART of a school, hospital, farm or clean water well. You can give for a child to have education and protection from exploitation for a year. You can buy a bicycle, seeds for a fruit tree farm, a few small animals or whatever and the gifts keep on giving. You can give 35-100 dollars for emergency medicines, and they match it times ten or fifteen….and these are just a few examples.

Their recipients have to give some of their harvest or whatever they reap from their assistance to someone else in need, and they can NEVER kill their animals simply for food (they have to cultivate and care for them as family). It is a pay it forward stipulation that the recipients must adhere. Their overhead is less than 20%: which means, dollar for dollar, the amount they bring in, majority goes to helping others than helping themselves. World Vision extends from every third-world country to even the homelands of the Americas.

I just think of people who are in this world who have no one…nothing…and are not sure where to turn. I see establishments like World Vision…and pray they can find their way there. Everyone needs someone at some point in time. We are meant to care for one another and to extend compassion. This is OUR world…and little by little we surely can make it better for at least someone.
