Cultivating a Cult…

Rhythmic Revelations: Part II

Thank you Kirk Franklin for a song of worship. Personally, I am positive that many people were blessed by Kirk Franklin, because he is singing at my church, and I was there. I promise you, it was not demonic. This was our Christmas Glory celebration and Kirk Franklin was our guest of honor that year. I am pleased to say that no one left the church with an evil heart, simply because Kirk Franklin was the minstrel. Perhaps Lewis forgot what salvation is about. G. Craige Lewis will not forgive Franklin for his past sins. He has degraded him, torn down his name and forgotten that Christ came for sinners…  I found a delight ful sight that I do believe is share worthy. God does not like sin, but he he loves the sinner. He died for sinners so that they would be save from the ultimate condemnation.

God Loves Sinners

by David J. Stewart

I am saddened by the hatred that some professed “Christians” have for the unsaved. It is tragic. Yes, God hates sin and the wrath of God abides upon Christ-rejecters (John 3:36); but let us never stray from the great Biblical doctrine of God’s wondrous love for mankind, which allowed Christ to be nailed to the cross for our sins. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Notice the words, “God so loved THE WORLD.”

Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” God in His foreknowledge knew how sinful and rotten mankind would be, but He looked beyond our faults and saw our need for redemption. Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again from the grave to TAKE AWAY our sins. Jesus did this by the shedding of His own physical blood. 1st Peter 1:18,19, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold… But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” Christ died for all men, because God loves all mankind, even the vilest of sinful men.

I have received dozens of letters from professed “Christians” who are upset with me for my article God Loves People. One woman sent several internet links to me, linking to articles which teach that God doesn’t love sinners. Oh, listen my friend, God loves mankind more than we could love Him in return. Luke 19:10 reads, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” 1st John 3:16a, “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down his life for us.” Notice the words,“the love of God.” God loves humanity, which is why He sent His Son to pay the debt for our sins. How could anyone say that God hates sinners? God DOES hate sin, and God IS angry with the wicked every day; but God equally loves each and every person and desires for them to repent and get saved. 2nd peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”God is “not willing that any should perish.”

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Kirk Franklin was courageous enough to give his testimony on the Oprah show. It was a very humbling thing for him to do…I still remember the shock on Oprah’s face when he made his confession. However, someone was blessed by his testimony, I am sure of that. Someone had the same problem and Kirk gave that person enough strength to believe and hope in overcoming his problem. Nevertheless, G Craige Lewis will not accept him as a brother in Christ. He will not forgive Kirk, and blogs   that Kirk Franklin is an apostate.

I believe that Kirk Franklin is in Christ. “Kirk says he has worked hard to overcome his addiction. People in his church community, he says, helped him find fulfillment in his music and faith. “They sat down and showed me, ‘This is why you sing about what you sing about. It’s not about your money; it’s not about your car—it’s about your heart. It’s about your character.’ Then I started seeing myself the way that God saw me.”

Darian Aaron said, ” It was sad to see this message posted, when I read it I wondered how many people just gave up? ~ “His message in a nutshell: We’re all going to hell. Hip Hop is of the devil, homosexuals are evil and deplorable, mega-churches and pastors are not of God, christian artists who associate with secular artists are a disgrace to the church,(uh oh Yolanda Adams and Kirk Franklin) and we all need to repent and live holy lives like him. Did I forget to mention that you can learn how to live a holy life according to G. Craige Lewis by purchasing his 6 dvd box set for $75.00 ?

When I listen to this man’s message and see the reaction from his cult like followers, I can’t help but think about Rev. Fred Phelps of Kansas and his cruel and heartless behavior at the funerals of deceased soldiers and Matthew Shepard. This hate speech disguised as religion is the exact opposite of what God stood for. I find it deplorable that this man can stand in pulpits all over the country and spread his own personal prejudice and throw a few bible verses in his sermon and call it the word of God and people accept it! When did having a belief in God mean that you have to throw common sense out of the window?”

ROM 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
ROM 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
ROM 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Because we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God. Neither our conscience, nor anyone else can ever accuse us again. Judgment now decides for us, not against him. We look back upon past sins, with deep sorrow for the sin, but we are not afraid of any penalty to come; for Christ has paid the debt of His people to the last jot and tittle, and received the divine receipt; and unless God can be so unjust as to demand double payment for one debt, no soul for whom Jesus died as a substitute can ever be cast into hell. It is finished, and no demon in hell can change that. G. Craige Lewis is out of his league… This is the prayer that Lewis is supposed to be teaching, it is not a prayer of hate…

I want to make a point right here.  Some people have stopped reading, and some are in total disagreement. However, many people prayed that prayer….I will never be able to say whom. No one can. That is why it is so futile to claim that Michael Jackson died unsaved. I will say it again. No one has the right to say who has been saved and who has not.

Lets talk about cults, what they are and what they are not. Usually a cult is built around a persons vision or experience that they believe supersedes the Bible.

CULTS

This video is funny… but what they are saying is true.

A cult may be illustrated in a number of ways. We can characterize a cult from a sociological perspective. In this example it is a small sized group, in pursuit of supernatural knowledge, deficient in governmental configuration, and the authority of a charismatic person in charge. In several cases cults can be devastating, They hypnotize, condition and obliterate the members power to make coherent judgments.. Another way to describe a cult is from a theological angle.. These are called pseudo-Christians. Cults maintain the backing of Christ or the Bible, but they twist the essential meaning of Christianity. They, as a rule, convey an added revelation by supplanting a primary tenet of the faith with a minor issue

To be clear, a cult is any religious group which deviated radically in one or more concepts as to the belief or practice from how those religious groups which are regarded as the normative expressions of religion in our total culture. In addition, cults maybe defined as a group of people gathered about a specific person or that person’s misinterpretation of the Bible. They are really not following Jesus Christ.

We have another matter to consider as well. It is the issue of being cultic. In other words, it is cult-like. In the case of cultic religions they are more difficult to discern religions that are cultic. Unlike cults, movements are multifaceted and diverse in their beliefs, teachings and practice’s Certain groups within the Faith movement could be described as cults, the entire movement is cultic. Following are a few well known cults. They will be followed by examples of what is cultic.

1  Westboro Baptist Church

The following  is WBC description of itself;

Established in 1955 by Pastor Fred Phelps, the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) of Topeka, Kansas still exists today as an Old School (or, Primitive) Baptist Church. We adhere to the teachings of the Bible, preach against all form of sin (e.g., fornication, adultery [including divorce and remarriage], sodomy), and insist that the sovereignty of God and the doctrines of grace be taught and expounded publicly to all men. These doctrines of grace were well summed up by John Calvin in his 5 points of Calvinism: Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible Grace, and Perseverance of the Saints. Although these doctrines are almost universally hated today, they were once loved and believed, as you can see in many confessions of faith.. Even though the Arminian lies that “God loves everyone” and “Jesus died for everyone” are being taught from nearly every pulpit in this generation, this hasn’t always been the case. If you are in a church that supposedly believes the Bible, and you are hearing these lies, then your church doesn’t teach what the Bible teaches. If you care about your never-dying soul, you will carefully read every word of this web site, along with the entire Bible.

WBC engages in daily peaceful sidewalk demonstrations opposing the homosexual lifestyle of soul-damning, nation-destroying filth. We display large, colorful signs containing Bible words and sentiments, including: GOD HATES FAGS, FAGS HATE GOD, AIDS CURES FAGS, THANK GOD FOR AIDS, FAGS BURN IN HELL, GOD IS NOT MOCKED, FAGS ARE NATURE FREAKS, GOD GAVE FAGS UP, NO SPECIAL LAWS FOR FAGS, FAGS DOOM NATIONS, THANK GOD FOR DEAD SOLDIERS, FAG TROOPS, GOD BLEW UP THE TROOPS, GOD HATES AMERICA, AMERICA IS DOOMED, THE WORLD IS DOOMED, etc.

It can be difficult to pinpoint what premise these religions have been built on. This religion is controversial not only because of its practices, but also because of its name. John the Baptist never preached anything other than Jesus. When he saw Jesus from afar, he knew it was Jesus. In no way does the Bible present John the Baptist as a hater.

All four canonical gospels relate John’s preaching and baptism in the River Jordan. Most notably he is the one who recognizes Jesus as the Messiah and baptizes him. The baptism marks the beginning of Jesus’s ministry. The Gospels of Mark, Matthew and (most clearly) Luke relate that Jesus came from Galilee to John in Judea and was baptized by him, whereupon the Spirit descended upon Jesus and a voice from Heaven told him he was God’s Son. The Gospel of John does not record John’s baptizing Jesus, but John introduces Jesus to his disciples as the “Lamb of God” (John 1:29-36[27]).

Considered by Christians to be without sin, Jesus nevertheless received John’s baptism, which was for the repentance of sins (Mark 1:4[28]). This is addressed in the Gospel of Matthew’s account, which portrays John’s refusal to baptize Jesus, saying, “I need to be baptized by you.” Jesus persuades John to baptize him nonetheless (Matthew 3:13-15[29]).

2        MORMON

The Mormons have gained a tremendous amount of attention since Mitt Romney has begun to run for president. Romney holds a high position in the Mormon Church, and has the power to baptize the dead. (This next video may go into other videos, if so please simply stop any additional videos so that we may proceed). This religion has quite a lot to share! The following link is one that I found interesting.

romneys-family-baptized-his-atheist-father-in-law-as-mormon-14-years-after-the-mans-death

Incredibly, the cult which said it “restored” Christianity, because Christianity had completely apostasized with the deaths of the Apostles; the cult which said Christian churches were “hatched in hell,” and totally devoid of truth; this cult now wants to be considered as a Christian Church. Look how the cult of “latter-day saints” has trashed Christianity:

“Brother Taylor has just said that the religions of the day were hatched in hell. The eggs were laid in hell, hatched on its borders, and then kicked on to the earth.” -Journal of Discourses 6:176 – the polygamous and despot, Brigham Young

This same genius also said:

“The Christian world, so-called, are heathens as to the knowledge of the salvation of God” – Journal of Discourses 8:171

“When the light came to me I saw that all the so-called Christian world was grovelling in darkness.” – Journal of Discourses 5:73

“With a regard to true theology, a more ignorant people never lived than the present so-called Christian world.” – Journal of Discourses 8:199

Joseph Smith started the whole smear campaign (after his brother’s funeral was preached by a Presbyterian minister who claimed that Alvin was probably in hell, never having had a true faith or received baptism). This womanizer, pedophile and sexual stalker, now held up by the Mormon cult to be the true Savior of men, and possibly mankind’s true “god,” claimed that “two personages” (who never identified themselves, by the way) told him that all Christian creeds were an abomination and all Christian “professors” were corrupt. He claimed he was the instrument for restoring Christianity, even though he was deeply involved in the occult and obviously didn’t have a clue about Christian doctrine. Anyone who falls for his claims needs a reality check.

One wonders who these “two personages” actually were – these “personages” who condemned Christ’s Church? I think – if Smith even had a real encounter at all, which I highly doubt – the guy was the epitome of a liar – that the two personages very well could have been Satan and one of his chief demonic sidekicks! Did Smith ever attempt to shake hands with these guys? (That’s how this theological genius said you could distinguish a satanic spirit from a true spirit). If there was an appearance at all, it was most blatantly Satanic! Who can doubt that? These two “personages” attacked the Body of Christ – the Father and Son would never have done so, for they promised to be with the Body of Christ until the end of the earth, and to guide her into all truth. The Bride of Christ did not suddenly become the Whore of Babylon, and those bringing that lying gospel are accursed.

So, now in these “latter-days,” the Mormons, whose prophet said Christianity was hatched in hell and kicked to the earth, want us all to accept their cult as being Christian. “Well, we’re just like you,” is the new lie the missionaries tell as they tramp door to door with the false gospel of Smithism. “We just have a little extra.” Oh, you’re not kidding: another God, another Jesus, another spirit, not to mention “another gospel.” But, none of this is mentioned to the “golden contact,” the target victim. Have the pious missionaries (kids looking to upgrade their resumes) mentioned that Christianity, according to their cult, is totally apostate? I doubt it. The ones around here certainly don’t – and after I saw the one punk missionary kid put a rosary around his neck in a collectibles store and parade it up and down in front of his laughing chohorts, it became quite obvious that these guys have no respect for other faiths (as they claim to). Sure, Mormons are Christians, just like Muslims are Christians!

These are the quotes from their “prophets” who can never lead Mormons astray, that I want the missionaries to share with those who they are proselytizing:

“What! Are Christians ignorant? Yes, as ignorant of the things of God as the brute best.” – Prophet John Taylor, Journal of Discourses 13:225

“What does the Christian world know about God? Nothing… Why so far as the things of God are concerned, they are the veriest fools; they know neither God nor the things of God.” – John Taylor, Journal of Discourses 13:225

“Where shall we look for the true order or authority of God? It cannot be found in any nation of Christendom.” – Prophet John Taylor, Journal of Discourses, 10:127

When Mormon missionaries come to the door of literally thousands of potential converts they will assure the unsuspecting that they represent “Jesus Christ” and are preaching His Gospel. However, that is not the case on many accounts.

Despite constant denial, Mormonism is a racist religion. “But let them apostatize, and they will become gray-haired, wrinkled, and black, just like the Devil” (Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 5, p. 332

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) cannot escape their racist past. For nearly 150 years, the Mormon Church had taught that ALL blacks were cursed. Hence, a black Mormon male could not hold the highly regarded LDS Priesthood1 because of his dark skin. And since he could not hold this Priesthood, he could not enter the Mormon Temple. This doctrine in no way, shape, or form can be substantiated in Scripture.

Only in the LDS scriptures does this racist doctrine exist.

To determine official LDS doctrine from unofficial speculation let us read the statements that were made by the General Authorities of the LDS Church as well as citations from the LDS “standard works.” So then, official LDS teaching cannot be evaded or denied as many Mormons (especially uninformed missionaries) often do.

Example 1: 2 Nephi 5: 21- ‘And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people, the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them.’

Example 2: Alma 3: 6- ‘And the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark which was set upon their fathers, which was a curse upon them because of their transgression and their rebellion against their brethren, who consisted of Nephi, Jacob and Joseph, and Sam, who were just and holy men.’

According to the Mormons, Lamanites are the native American Indians who they erroneously claim, are descendants of Hebrews (who ‘strayed’ and became ‘cursed’ with dark skin) even though it has been established by DNA evidence that the native American Indian is related to tribes in Asia which crossed a land-bridge tens of thousands of years ago.

Mormonism, also called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS),  is not considered to be Christian by Christians.  In fact, Mormonism teaches the following non Christian, non biblical doctrines.  (Note that all the documentation is taken from Mormon writers and Mormon scriptures.)

God used to be a man on another planet, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 321; Joseph Smith, Times and Seasons, vol. 5, p. 613-614; Orson Pratt, Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, p. 345; Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 7, p. 333).

God resides near a star called Kolob, (Pearl of Great Price, p. 34-35; Mormon Doctrine, p. 428).

“The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s…” (Doctrines and Covenants 130:22).

God is in the form of a man, (Joseph Smith, Journal of Discourses, vol. 6, p. 3).

“God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!!! . . . We have imagined that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea and take away the veil, so that you may see,” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345).

After you become a good Mormon, you have the potential of becoming a god, (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345-347, 354.)

There is a mother god, (Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 443).

God is married to his goddess wife and has spirit children, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 516).

The trinity is three separate Gods: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. “That these three are separate individuals, physically distinct from each other, is demonstrated by the accepted records of divine dealings with man,” (Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 35.).

In contrast to these teachings, Christianity the Bible teaches that God has always been God and was never a man (Psalm 90:2).  The Bible nowhere says he lives near another star or that the Father has a body of flesh and bones — which Christ contradicted in John 4:24 and Luke 24:39.  We do not have the potential of becoming gods because there are no gods formed (Isaiah 43:10; 44:6,8; 45:5).  The Trinity is one God (Deut. 6:4), not three.

3        SWEDENBORGIASM~

It is also called The New Church, the Church of New Jerusalem. Little is known about this religion, but it is practiced world wide by devout followers. There are only books on this religion. Swedenborg developed an entire doctrine, followers have created churches from it. This is a cult with no question.

Founder: Emanuel Swedenborg, born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1688.  Died in 1772.  Of course, members of this group deny that Emanuel Swedenborg is the author of the religion, but will admit that it draws it primary theology from his writings.

Doctrines: Denies the Vicarious Atonement, the Trinity, and deity of the Holy Spirit.  It holds to Christ as divine.  All religions lead to God, though all are not equally enlightened. One of its goals is to bring the world together under a new religious understanding. It teaches a need for Christianity to undergo a rebirth — according to Swedenborgian interpretations.  The Bible is the inspired word of God with two levels:  the historical and the deeper spiritual one.  Regarding the Trinity, a Swedenborg pastor said, “The Christian trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are aspects of God just as soul, body, and activities are aspects of each one of us.”

There is no personal devil.  Instead, the devil is the personification of human evil.  Hell is corrupted human society.  The Scriptures are best interpreted through the writings of  Swedenborg.  Angels go through cycles of purity of character where they are sometimes closer and at other it times further from God.  Swedenborg stated that the Acts and Epistles were not inspired as are the four Gospels and the Book of Revelation.  There is no physical resurrection. After death, a person becomes an angel or an evil spirit. Angels are not supernatural creations of God.  Position in the afterlife is based on “the kind of life we have chosen while here on earth.”

At a person’s death, his mind falls asleep for three days in a place called the world of the spirits. Afterwards, he awakens and encounters spirits who’ve died before hand who help him adjust to the afterlife.

There is marriage in heaven.

Origins: Emanuel Swedenborg was born on January 29, 1688 (died 1772) in Stockholm. His father was a Lutheran minister. Emanuel was very bright and had an inquisitive mind. He was particularly interested in science and religion. In the former, he was recognized as an expert in geology and he also studied astronomy, cosmology, and physics. In 1744 he was stricken with a severe delirium which seems to have affected his mind for the rest of his life since many trance states were attributed to him as his life progressed.

In 1745 he had a vision where loathsome creatures seemed to crawl on the walls of his room. Then a man appeared who claimed to be God. This apparition said that Emanuel was to be the one who would communicate the teachings of the unseen realm to the people of the world. He would be the means by which God would further reveal Himself to the world.

Publications: Arcana Coelestia: The Earths in the Universe. The 35 volumes of writings by Swedenborg.

Comments: This is a dangerous mystical non-Christian religion.  Its denial of the Trinity and the Holy Spirit, the vicarious atonement, and rejection of Acts and the Pauline epistles clearly set it outside of Christian orthodoxy.

4        CHRISTIAN SCIENCE

Of all the biblically-based cults in America today, Christian Science is one of the most interesting. Not only does it deny the essential doctrines of Christianity, but it has completely reinterpreted the Bible. It drastically redefines the Bible’s culture and terminology and rips thousands of scriptures out of their historical and biblical contexts. The result is a non-Christian mixture of metaphysical and philosophical thoughts. Christian Science is so foreign to the Bible that, if it didn’t use words like Jesus, Trinity, Love, Grace, Sin, etc., you’d never suspect it had anything to do with the Bible at all. Additionally, the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, which is the Christian Scientist’s mainstay of spiritual knowledge, reads with a rhythm of pseudo-logical statements that has the tendency to dull the senses when read long enough. Is Christian Science Christian? Definitely not.

Mary Baker Eddy was born in New England on a farm in Bow, New Hampshire. Her childhood and much of her adult life, before 1862, was spent in ill health. Although raised with Puritan values, daily Bible reading, and even the talk of God’s healing power, she spent many years looking for healing in the many remedial methods available in her time.

She became a patient of the New England healer Phineas Parkhurst Quimby, whose “medicine-free” healing techniques undoubtedly influenced her greatly. When she first visited Dr. Quimby in 1862 she was a virtual invalid, and with the good doctor’s help her health quickly improved. The change was instantaneous. Her pain and weakness disappeared. A sense of comfort and well-being stepped into their place. Within a week she says that without help she climbed the one hundred eighty-two steps to the dome of the City Hall. And in this whole experience she furnished a clear illustration of the words Jesus spoke to the woman healed after twelve years’ illness, “Thy faith hath made thee whole.”

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures is the primary interpretive source of the Bible and source guide of Christian Science. It interprets the Bible in a radically different way. It is so different, in fact, that it absolutely rejects the substitutionary atonement of Jesus and states that it had no efficacious value (S&H, 25:6). It denies that Jesus is God, second person of the Trinity (S&H, 361:12-13). It says that sin is a false interpretation of Divine Mind and is nonexistent (S&H, 335:7-15). And it says that the Holy Spirit is Divine Science which is best represented by Christian Science (S & H, 331:31). The list can go on and, unfortunately, it does.

To the Christian Scientist, God (the Father-Mother) is a Principle known as the Divine Mind. It has no personhood and no personality. A catch phrase used in their literature is that God is “All in All.” In other words, God is all that exists and what we perceive as matter is an interpretation of divine mind. Since God is love, it means that sin and sickness are only errors of interpreting the Divine Mind and have no true reality (S & H, 330:25-274; 470:9-14).

To the Christian Scientist, Jesus is a Way-shower. He is someone who epitomized the true principle of the Christ Consciousness which indwells us all. Therefore, Jesus did not really die on the cross. He was not God in flesh. He made no atonement in shedding His blood (S&H, 25:6).

Christian Science teaches that man does not have a sinful nature and is a reflection of Divine Mind. To achieve “salvation,” he needs only to find the true reality of understanding, as revealed in Christian Science teachings. Unfortunately, these teachings are from Mary Baker Eddy a woman who founded the religion in the 1870’s and are not from God.

The Christian Scientists consider their philosophy to be consistent with the original teachings of Jesus. They consider truth a matter of higher understanding and learning. But the reality is that Christian Science has only produced unbiblical and false doctrines. Eternal destruction is the only thing that will result from its false teaching. The fires of hell will be a bitter reality for those who have been taught that they don’t exist.

5       JEHOVAH”S WITNESSES~

It was an extraordinary day for me. Perhaps I had stronger coffee than a body ought as I was vigorous and could not stop thinking about the horrible things that had been written about Michael. As I walked through the mall, a Jehovah’s Witness came to me with a track. Sadly, for her I was feeling quite rambunctious. She looked frightened when I said to her “Who do you say Jesus Christ is?!!”  He’s the son of God she said pleadingly. I had not come down, glared at her and demanded that she prove it. She said my sister is here! Let me get her…she will help us! I sort of jacked up her sister and demanded, no commanded that she get some literature proving who they believed Jesus Christ was.

I will at this point advise the readers not to drink four shots of espresso and talk to anyone…I am sure I frightened them by being so aggressive. The sister panicked and said she had a book in the car that would help. I do confess that I was out of control…she wanted to take her sister with her, but I told her “No! She stays with me!” It must have been awful for them (I have since surrendered Starbucks). In any event, the sister came back with a book called The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived.

Actually, I knew this was my last chance to question them.  Usually, people don’t even answer the door for them. However, I was so concerned about what had happened to Michael that I drug the poor things in my house weekly and interviewed them. They ceased to come to my door. When the Witnesses won’t come to your door…its bad! (I digress)

They proudly showed me in the book that Jesus was the son of God. Nevertheless, the book reads” By accepting the provision of His ransom sacrifice the burden of sin and death inherited from Adam can be removed from us, and Jesus can become our Eternal Father. All who would gain everlasting life must take in knowledge not only of God but of his son, Jesus Christ” It appears that they accept Jesus in accordance with Romans 10:9-10,

ROM 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

ROM 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Albeit they seem comply with the scripture, the true problem is they are accepting the Jesus from their bible, not from the holy Bible, which is like not accepting Jesus at all. This is what the Witnesses believe, in a nutshell.

There has been quite a lot of talk regarding Michael Jackson and his being a Jehovah Witness. However, I want to take this minute to say again that we are not at liberty to say who is saved in our churches. No one knows who has been saved except that person and The Almighty God Himself. Following are testimonies from ex-Witnesses. Shall we say that they are going to hell?! Of course not! If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”  Like many cults, the witnesses are programmed for separation anxiety if they leave. So, oftentimes the need counseling and or support. You may remember a video where Michael said he cried after celebrating Christmas with Liz Taylor, because he thought he had done something wrong. Cults often work with mind control. The following stories are from ex-Witnesses.

ex-jehovahs-witness-stories  ( This is a must see)

‎”What one wishes is to be touched by truth and to be able to interpret that truth so that one may use what one is feeling and experiencing, be it despair or joy, in a way that will add meaning to one’s life and will hopefully touch others as well. This is art in its highest form. Those moments of enlightenment are what I continue to live for~ Michael Jackson

1 Response to Cultivating a Cult…

  1. Jehovahs Witnesses belief system.
    A) They are at your door to recruit you for their watchtower society corporation, they will say that *we are just here to share a message from the Bible*… this is deception right off.
    B) Their *message* creed is a false Gospel that Jesus had his second coming in 1914.The problem with this is it’s not just a cute fairy tale,Jesus warned of the false prophets who would claim *..look he is here in the wilderness,or see here he is at the temple*.
    C) Their anti-blood transfusion ban against *whole blood* has killed thousands.
    D) once they recruit you they will *love bomb* you in cult fashion to also recruit your family & friends or cut them off.
