Give Like Michael Jackson

The 350 million dollars that is continously reported is just a fraction of what Michael Jackson really donated toward humanitarian issues. He did most of his work quietly and asked the people he helped to keep it on the down low. Why?  Because Michael was a spiritual man and he knew that God favors are heaped upon those who do God’s work in secret.  Why was Michael so successful in his endeavors? Because, although he was a perfectionist and crafted his talent relentlessly, he was also blessed- God gifted and it was due to his sense of charitable giving. For details regarding how, when and what kind of charity Michael supported in his lifetime please visit MJJCNews.

QUESTION: What do the different religions of the world believe?

ANSWER: What Michael believed.

“He who wished to secure the good of others, has already secured his own.” –Confucius.

“Before you pray for prosperity, give in charity”  Imam Ali

“But when you give to the poor, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.” Matthew 6:3

“He shows his love for his brothers by bestowing secret charity on them”                    Torah Genesis 41:37

“When we give to others, we give without expectation of reward. We give without attaching to either the gift or the recipient. We practice giving to release greed and self-clinging”  Buddhist teaching

“The abundance of merit you earn by giving regularly and generously creates for you–through the law of karma–greater spiritual rewards, worldly success and financial abundance in this and future lives.”  Hindu teaching

“Blessed is he who preferreth his brother before himself. Verily, such a man is reckoned, by virtue of the Will of God, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise..”  Baha’i teaching

Michael was a spiritually conscience man. May we have a half of his faith in humanity and a fraction of the generosity of his spirit.

“All In Your Name”
(with Barry Gibb)
[Barry]

Now I got a mission
The story unfolds
What the wise men have told you, is already known
That a woman and a man
Should go by the plan
And we find out how high we can fly
There’s just one religion
One family of love
We suffer the children
As God cries above
And the giving, not the taking
With hearts open wide
And it looks like we fall
And it burns like a flame
Any ground that I claim
So what is my life
If I don’t believe
There is someone to watch me
Follow my dreams
Take all my chances, like those who dare
And what of our world
What does it become
When the damage is done
And you held out, you said no, you stand up
[Michael]
Only God knows
That it’s all in the game
It’s all in your name
Carry me to the gates of paradise
They’re the same
It’s all in your name
[Barry]
Look to Heaven
An angel of peace
To love and protect us
Through all of our tears
And the gateway to peace
It stands open wide
And it looks like we fall
And it burns like a flame
Any ground that I claimSo what is my life
If I don’t believe
There is someone to watch me
Follow my dreams
Take all my chances, like those who dare
And where is the peace
We’re searching for
Under the shadows of war
Can we hold out, and stand up, and say no
[Michael]
Only God knows
That it’s all in the game
It’s all in your name
Follow me to the gates of paradise
They’re the same
It’s all in your name
[Barry]
??
Love you, and understand you
??
will they all know (?)
[Michael]
It’s over[Barry]
Then we’ll all know(?)

[Michael]
It’s over

[Michael]
See? that it’s done(?)

[Barry]
And it’s all in your name

[Michael]
It’s all in the game
It’s all in your name
Follow me through the gates of paradise
They’re the same {yeah yeah, yeah yeah}

It’s all in the game
It’s all in your name
Follow me through the gates of paradise
They’re the same
They’re the same {yeah yeah}

It’s all in the game
It’s all in your name
Follow me through the gates of paradise
They’re the same
